But first, a quick update relating to my art. Two of my pieces made it into the Student Show! "Clip," renamed "Artifact 24," and "Float," renamed "Suspension of Proportion," were the two lucky little sculptures that were selected. So that's good news. Of course, the student show is going to be over soon (it's been up for a while) but nothing of mine made it last year, so I was happy.

Alright, so I just uploaded my first sculpture from the semester (ironic, since the semester is just about over...oh, well). The next three will come in the next few days, probably one per day because I personally don't like a flood of deviations on my watch list, so I don't want to inflict that on others. The rest of my intaglio prints should be close behind (I actually haven't photographed them yet). I don't know about my paintings, though. I'm not sure if I'll be able to photograph them before I leave to go home, and I think they're not going home with me (I need something on the walls at my apartment here, you know), so I'll let you know on that soon. I've done three more paintings since my last submission, by the way.

Alright, I've put up two prints and an update of one that I had already submitted. The painting should be up soon (tomorrow maybe?). So that leaves one print, two (I hope) sculptures, and a third sculpture coming Thursday. The second sculpture was supposed to be cast this weekend, but I didn't get to go to the casting, so I'm not sure if it turned out alright. I should find out soon, though. And I'm starting on new projects in all three of my classes, so there will be even more stuff in about two to three weeks... Whew! That's a lot of info for one of my journal entries!

My painting is finished...in fact, it's hanging on my wall...but the batteries for my camera are dead, which means I can't let you see it yet. And I have three prints and a sculpture to document as well...with two more sculptures on the way. I'll try to get it all up here soon! (And hopefully before more art piles up!)

I'm going to do something I've never done before. I'm going to post stages of my work for my current painting assignment. So anyone who wants to can see the way I see my work...as more than a finished product. I'm actually really excited about this painting already. It makes me happy. ^_^
